Carisbrooke Explorer

Carisbrooke Explorer is an interactive tour around Carisbrooke Castle and Carisbrooke Castle Museum.

This part of Carisbrooke Castle Museum's makes use of features which are only available in Internet Explorer 4+ running a minimum resolution of 800 X 600 with both Java and JavaScript enabled.

Many of the graphics are loaded in the background when Carisbrooke Explorer is started. Due to this when Explorer is run for the first time there may be a delay of up to 60 seconds before the initial page is fully displayed. In addition use of a wheel mouse to scroll may cause some parts of Explorer to 'paint' incorrectly. This problem is purely cosmetic and does not affect any other aspect of Explorer.

Use of this area of the site with a slow connection (less than a 56k modem) is not recommended.
